Letní stadion Milevsko

Letní stadion has a way of holding its shape through the decades. The running track that circles the grass remains, though the surface has changed to tartan.

The club that plays there, FC ZVVZ Milevsko, has shifted its name more than once — from SK Milevsko to TJ Spartak Milevsko and later TJ ZVVZ Milevsko — yet the patch of grass at the corner of Kpt. Nálepky has been theirs since the first match on the natural surface was played in 1957.

What the place remembers most clearly is the season they reached the II. národní liga. They stayed there for one year before the draw brought them back down, and they have spent the years since moving between the Divize and the lower tiers.

A name that still draws attention to the stadium is Jan Koller.

The ground itself makes no promises — it is simply the place where the players pick one up last week and try again.
