Letní stadion Valašské Meziříčí

Letní stadion carries a distinction most grounds its size never earn: two record crowds set nearly eighty years apart. In 1947, S.K. Valašské Meziříčí met Slavia Michálkovice here in a play-off for a place in the Moravian-Silesian Division, then the second tier of Czechoslovak football. The tie drew 4,000 spectators and ended level, sending Slavia up instead of the home side — and the number stood unmatched for generations.

It took the club's own centenary to come close. On 12 July 2025, a friendly between FC Baník Ostrava and MFK Dukla Banská Bystrica, staged as part of the anniversary programme, brought around 3,000 people through the gates, the largest crowd the ground had seen in the modern era.

What also sets this complex apart from a typical lower-league venue is its size on the inside: three separate pitches rather than one. Alongside the main natural-grass field, floodlit for evening fixtures and framed by an 800-seat stand, there is a second grass pitch that can hold 250 spectators of its own, plus a third field laid with artificial turf. Between them, the club's first team and its reserve side, TJ Valašské Meziříčí "B", train and play without competing for the same surface.

The club that calls it home has changed its name more than once since it was founded — S.K. Valašské Meziříčí gave way to Sokol, then Tatran, before the present TJ Valašské Meziříčí was settled on in 1958 — but the ground on Žerotínova street has outlasted every rebrand.
