Pabellón Municipal de Es Pratet

The Pabellón Municipal de Es Pratet sits quietly in the Es Pratet district of Eivissa. In late 2025, the venue replaced decades-old 400-watt halogen spotlights with 32 new LED projectors.

Before the lights, the building struggled with the elements. Water infiltration had been a persistent problem, with serious leaks reported during heavy rain as early as 2018. By 2020, the Ibiza City Council approved works to improve the roof structure, addressing the water damage that had plagued the interior.

Inside, the space is functional. The capacity is tight: 300 seated spectators plus 100 standing, totaling 400. This small footprint suits its primary tenant, Handbol Club Eivissa. The hall has also hosted basketball matches in the EBA league. There is no architectural flair here; the structure is a covered concrete box.

The venue’s name has remained constant. Records from the Ajuntament d’Eivissa and local media show no former sponsored titles or official rebrandings. It is simply the municipal facility at Avinguda d’Ignasi Wallis, 59. While the exact year of construction remains unrecorded, the hall has served the community through multiple maintenance cycles.
