The Palaghiaccio Olimpico di Torre Pellice "Giorgio Cotta Morandini" was built between 2003 and 2006 for the XX Winter Olympic Games "Torino 2006", though the official inauguration followed the opening in December 2005. The architect Claudio Lucchin from Bolzano worked alongside De Ferrari Architetti and Studio Lee on the commission from the Agency for the organization of the XX Winter Olympic Games Turin 2006.

The playing surface is ice, a standard 60x30 m rink. The club has been based in Torre Pellice since 1934. The seating capacity is a matter of record, with the Italian Wikipedia listing 2,370 seats while Elite Prospects and other sources cite 2,500; no official renovations changing this capacity have been documented. The specific attendance record for a single match is not found in available sources.

The venue has hosted significant international events, including the 2007 FISU World University Games (ice hockey) and the 2022 IIHF Women's Olympic Qualification tournament. It is also scheduled to host ice hockey for the 2025 FISU World University Games. The venue is in the Province of Turin, Piedmont.
