Valpellice

The rink at the foot of the mountains, the Pala Cotta Morandini, seats 2,370 and was raised for the 2006 Winter Olympics. The most recent rebirth came in 2019, under the name HC Valpellice Bulldogs.

Red gave way to black and green in 1964, and only in 1992 did white and red, the current scheme, take over. Through all of it the nickname stuck: La Valpe , the She-Wolf.

Two Coppa Italia wins mark the club's high points, in 2013 against Alleghe and in 2016 against HC Val Pusteria. The 2013 team came closer still, reaching the Italian championship final before losing to Asiago Hockey. Against Real Torino HC, the Derby Piemontese gives the rivalry a name of its own, one that matters more in the valley than most results further up the table.

The Italian title itself has never come.
