Feltreghiaccio

In March 2023 head coach Fabio Zampol resigned on the eve of the playoff final. The Woodpeckers had reached the deciding series, and their coach left before it started.

Two years later the club had a trophy. On 9 February 2025 Feltreghiaccio beat SV Kaltern 3–0 in the Coppa Italia final. It came from a club that had already been through one collapse.

Feltreghiaccio was founded in 1995 and went straight into the top-tier Serie A, where it played three seasons, 1995–96 to 1997–98. It dropped to Serie A2 for 1998–99 and dissolved at the end of that season without registering for the next. The name came back in 1999 as Hockey Club Feltreghiaccio Junior, and that remains the official name. Senior hockey returned only in 2004–05, in Serie C Under 26. The rink renovation kept the team off the ice for the whole of 2020–21.

The nearest rival is Alleghe Hockey, and the matches between them are the Derby Bellunese.

Home games are played at the Palaghiaccio Drio le Rive, known locally as PalaFeltre, which holds about 2,350. The colours are red, white and black.
