Port Vila Municipal Stadium

Ten thousand seats sit in a country of eighty-odd islands — locals still trade PVL Stadium and Stade Centrale for the same patch of grass off Teouma Road in Korman. Nobody has fixed the year it opened.

The record crowd came on 2 April 2011, when Amicale hosted Auckland City in the first leg of the OFC Champions League final and lost 1–2 in front of 7,925 people. Rugby league passed through too: Vanuatu beat Niue 22–20 here in October 2013, and lost to Greece 14–26 a year earlier, both matches part of the qualifying road to the 2013 World Cup.

In September 2016 it staged the OFC U-20 Championship finals, ending with New Zealand edging the hosts 1–0 in the final. It is also where the national team turns for its own World Cup and OFC Nations Cup qualifiers, and where the domestic PVFA Premier League plays out its weekends, with Tafea, Amicale, ABM Galaxy, Ifira Black Bird, Tupuji Imere and Shepherds United all calling it home in turn.

There is no club shirt permanently tied to the place — the ground belongs to the city council. December 2024 brought an earthquake to Port Vila, though what it meant for the stadium itself was never spelled out. What is on the record is a rugby league World Cup arriving in 2026.
