ABM Galaxy

Port Vila's football scene has always run on a handful of works clubs and sports societies, and ABM Galaxy grew out of that pattern in 2014. The club started life in the lower reaches of the city league and did not stay there long.

It won the Port Vila Second Division in its first push up the ladder, in the 2014–15 season, then took the First Division title in 2017–18. That same campaign it reached the Grand Final of the VFF National Super League's Top 4 Competition and beat Tafea FC 2–1, a result that carried more weight than a domestic trophy usually would: it opened the door to the OFC Champions League.

The continental football that followed was a step up in every sense. As a Vanuatu club, ABM Galaxy sits within the Oceania Football Confederation, and it took its place in the OFC Champions League in 2020 and again in 2022, without bringing back silverware from either campaign.

The team plays in blue and white, and its home ground is Port Vila Municipal Stadium, known locally as PVL Stadium, with a capacity of 10,000. There is no official club website, and no verified social media presence to speak of — the story has stayed close to the pitch and the local league table where it began.
