Toti City

Raymond Gunemba scored more goals for this club than anyone else, captained Papua New Guinea, and in 2016 finished as top scorer at the OFC Nations Cup. He kept collecting titles with the side through 2019 and into the 2019/20 season.

It started in Lae in 2014 as Lae City Dwellers, became Toti City FC, then reverted to Lae City FC — though in OFC competitions the Toti City name has stuck. Peter Gunemba coached the club from its founding until 2020, when owner Ian Chow dismissed him. Between those two points sat the club's best years: runners-up in its first season, then champions in 2015, 2015/16, 2017 and 2018.

The 2015 title came with a 5-1 final win over Madang. Hekari United was, for years, the measure the club set itself against.

Since 2020 that rivalry has taken a stranger shape. Nigel Dabinyaba, a key attacking player, left for Hekari United that year. And from 2021, Lae has had two clubs pulling at the same thread: Lae City FC under Chow, and Lae City Dwellers FC under the Gunemba family — Peter, Raymond and Troy — each claiming to be the true successor to the original side. Their meetings are now known as the Lae Derby.

Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium, the club's home ground, holds 1,500 — 500 seats and 1,000 on benches.
