Stadium
Stade Ingoma
Gitega, Burundi
The ground sits in Gitega , the political capital, a couple of kilometres east of the National Museum. On 18 June 2020 Stade Ingoma held the presidential inauguration of Évariste Ndayishimiye; earlier that same month it had taken the state funeral of the former president, Pierre Nkurunziza.
In November 2021 the "Flambeau de la Paix" initiative was launched on the same turf, and in April 2025 the ruling CNDD-FDD used it for "Umukenyererarugamba Day". A stadium that spends part of its year as a parade square.
Musongati FC play their Ligue A fixtures here, but so do Flambeau du Centre, Aigle Noir Makamba and Garage Express — four clubs sharing one artificial surface, which is a good part of why the surface is artificial.
