Stadio Alvise De Toni
Alleghe, Italy
Stadio Alvise De Toni The building opened in 1975, though some records place the start a decade later; the refrigeration slab beneath the ice dates to 1972. A roof was added in 1984 to prepare for the XII Winter Universiade. The original rink moved to the mainland in December 1952.
The arena carries the name of Alvise De Toni, a local engineer who was kidnapped and killed in Mozambique in 1984 while supervising a dam project. The facility holds 2,500 spectators on two stands and one curve. The playing surface is artificial ice, produced by a mechanical refrigeration system. The last structural changes arrived in 2006, when walls were closed in and the stands were rebuilt, alongside the addition of an 188-seat conference hall.
Alleghe Hockey has played its home matches in the Italian Hockey League (IHL) from this ground. The highest recorded attendance was 1,944 spectators on January 3, 2026, during a match against SV Kaltern Caldaro rothoblaas in the IHL 2025/26 season, a result that surpassed the previous record of 1,834 set for the match against Aosta. Beyond the league matches, the facility hosts musical evenings on ice, local community festivals, and public skating sessions. The official address is Via Lungo Lago, 18, 32022 Alleghe BL, Italy.
