Stadio Simonetta Lamberti

The ground in Cava de' Tirreni does not follow the town's rhythm so much as it stands apart from it.

The stadium carries a heavy history. It was originally the Stadio Comunale, but that name was retired on April 2, 1983, during a Serie B match between Cavese and Milan. The club had just played in front of approximately 22,000 spectators, the largest crowd to ever gather at the site. The match ended in a 2–2 draw, but the result was not the reason for the occasion. The ground had been renamed for Simonetta Lamberti, the 11-year-old daughter of a local prosecutor who was killed in a camorra ambush on May 29, 1982.

Cavese 1919 has called the place home since it was officially inaugurated on January 12, 1969. In 2018, the stands were consolidated and a new 41-meter-high floodlight tower was installed for the 2019 Summer Universiade. The work cost approximately €3 million and brought the venue up to FIGC standards for Serie C.

The stadium also hosts concerts. The Cure played here on June 3, 1989, and other acts such as Pink Floyd and Sting have performed on the same grass.
