Atert Bissen secured a 2-0 win against F91 Dudelange in the first round of the National Division on 4 August. The hosts opened the scoring early and extended their lead after the break to take all three points at home.
R. Ferber gave the home side the lead in the eighth minute, a goal that settled the visitors before they could settle into any rhythm. To be fair, F91 had little time to respond with the scoreline already against them.
The second goal came in the sixty-first minute, also from Ferber, and that put the match beyond doubt. By then the visitors had been chasing the game for most of the half.
Atert dominated the play with 56 per cent possession and 98 attacks compared to 83 for the visitors. The hosts earned seven corners to two, while F91 picked up three yellow cards against one for the home side.
The result moves Atert Bissen to nine points from six games, keeping them in ninth place. F91 Dudelange remain on six points in eleventh after two wins and four defeats so far this season.
