Dordrecht edge past Jong Ajax in opening Eerste Divisie clash
Dordrecht claimed a 2-1 victory over Jong Ajax at home on Friday evening, opening their campaign with three points despite the visitors' higher league position. The hosts took the lead inside the first quarter-hour and held on through a match that saw plenty of yellow cards and few clear chances. And here's the thing — the statistics told a different story than the result.
P. Nash gave Jong Ajax the early advantage at the 4th minute, but Dordrecht responded almost immediately. M. Vetkal levelled just two minutes later before A.
