Neratovice-Byshkove produced a remarkable display to beat Klesterets-na-Ohi 10-1 in the Cup Round of 128 on Wednesday evening. The visitors took control early and never looked back, with J. Slavik opening the scoring in the seventh minute before adding two more before half-time.
Slavik had his hat-trick secured by the fifteenth minute, and O. Jakoubek extended the lead shortly after the break. L. Krok then made it five before the interval, leaving the hosts chasing shadows for the remainder of the contest.
By then the match had become something of a rout. Goals came at regular intervals after the hour mark, with six more finding the net between the sixty-second and eighty-eighth minutes. The flood of goals left little doubt about the quality gap on show.
Klesterets-na-Ohi had looked dangerous in their last outing, beating Ostrov 4-3 on 1 August, but they were simply outclassed here. Neratovice-Byshkove arrived in fine form, having won four of their last five matches and only drawn once against Admirа Prague in February.
The result sees the visitors advance to the next round of the Cup, where they will face whoever emerges from the tie they are drawn against. A comprehensive victory, but one that perhaps underlined how far they still have to go.
