Køge beat Odense 3-0 in the Elitedivisionen regular season on Friday. The hosts dominated from the opening exchanges and sealed their third consecutive win. Odense have now lost four of six league matches this campaign.
Nadim took the lead inside twenty minutes with a penalty kick at the seventeenth minute. By then Odense were already behind the pace and had no answer to the pressure. The visitors threw bodies in the way but could not stop the spot-kick finding the net.
Half-time came with a two-goal cushion for Køge after Nadim struck again at forty-five plus four.
Madsen added a third at seventy-nine minutes to complete the scoring. There were plenty of changes on both sides throughout the second half with nine substitutions in total. Odense brought on Oskarsdottir and Thrige in a late attempt to find something.
Dahlmann and Callesen received yellow cards in the closing stages as frustration set in. The visitors had worked hard to keep their heads but could not break through.
Køge sit top of the table with fifteen points from six matches. The gap between them and seventh-placed Odense has only widened with this result.
