Russian Rugby May Sue World Rugby Over Reinstatement

Russia's rugby federation may take World Rugby to court if the sport's global governing body does not move to reinstate the country's teams, according to federation vice-president Kirill Yashenkov.
Yashenkov said the federation remains in contact with World Rugby but sees no sign of movement. He said the governing body is relying on procedural grounds to avoid a decision, and suggested a legal challenge could go either to a court in Ireland, where World Rugby is headquartered, or to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, where he said other Russian federations have already won cases.
