Arles Eduardo Flores Crespo

Arles Flores made his name at Zamora, where he came through as a defensive midfielder, racking up around 171 league appearances and seven goals between 2009 and 2016. In that spell he won the Venezuelan Primera División three times, taking the 2012/13 and 2013/14 titles with Zamora before adding the 2016 Clausura.

A swap deal took him to Deportivo La Guaira in June 2016, with midfielder Óscar Hernández moving the other way to Zamora. He passed 200 appearances for the club and scored close to ten goals, and in August 2019 he settled a match against Estudiantes de Caracas with a long-range strike that gave Deportivo La Guaira a 0-1 win, their first of that Clausura. He went on to win the league with them in 2018/19 and again in the 2020 Normalization Tournament, the club's first-ever national title.

Flores also had a brief run in the Venezuela national team, winning four caps in 2016. He debuted in a 1-0 friendly win over Costa Rica in February that year, then featured in a goalless draw with Panama before two World Cup qualifiers: a 2-2 draw away to Argentina and a 0-2 defeat to Brazil. He did not score for the national side.

Flores left Deportivo La Guaira as a free agent and returned to Zamora in January 2024.
