About the player
Anis Hadj-Moussa was born in Paris, but it is Algeria he plays for at international level, despite never being capped by Les Bleus. A switch to Patro Eisden Maasmechelen in the Challenger Pro League followed, and it was from there that Feyenoord signed him permanently in April 2024, a deal made effective from the start of July that year. The Rotterdam club saw off competition from Besiktas to get the move done.
Before that transfer was completed, Hadj-Moussa spent time on loan at Vitesse in the Eredivisie, where he had four assists in 14 league appearances. Since committing fully to Feyenoord on a contract running to 2029, he has scored 26 goals in 88 appearances across all competitions. He was part of the squad that won the Johan Cruijff Shield in 2024, beaten finalists PSV Eindhoven undone on penalties after a 4-4 draw.
He made his senior debut for Algeria in March 2024 against Bolivia and has since been named in the country's squads for the Africa Cup of Nations and the 2026 World Cup.
