About the player
The move paid off immediately: he helped Giravanz win the J3 League title and promotion in his first season, then finished as J2's second-highest scorer with 18 goals in 2020.
A move to Shimizu S-Pulse followed at the end of 2020, though his time there was interrupted by a loan back to Montedio Yamagata in 2022, where he scored eight goals in 17 appearances. After a spell with Shonan Bellmare from mid-2023, Disaro returned to Montedio Yamagata on a permanent transfer in July 2024. Across his two spells there he has scored 22 goals in 65 appearances, taking his career J.League total past 50 goals.
Disaro is of Japanese-Italian descent, born in Tokyo to an Italian father and Japanese mother. He plays as a left-footed forward and has not been capped by the Japan national team at senior level.
