Abdoulaye Sylla

Twice now, Abdoulaye Sylla has been attached to a cup-winning squad without appearing in the final. He was part of the FC Nantes squad during the 2021–22 Coupe de France campaign, but had moved on to RFC Seraing by the time the trophy was decided. Three seasons later, when SK Sigma Olomouc beat AC Sparta Praha 3–1 in the Czech Cup final on 14 May 2025, he was a squad member but was not named in either the starting eleven or among the substitutes.

The route there ran through Nantes, where he joined the academy in 2011 and stayed until 2022. His professional debut came in Ligue 1 in February 2021, and four months later, on 5 June 2021, he made his first appearance for Guinea against Togo. He has four caps and has not scored for the national team.

The move to Seraing in July 2022 was for an undisclosed fee. In October 2023 he dropped into the Czech National Football League with MFK Vyškov, and what followed was a tangle of paperwork rather than a straight transfer. Sigma Olomouc took him on loan from Vyškov in January 2025. In July 2025 he signed permanently for FK Příbram and was loaned straight back to Olomouc for the 2025–26 season. In January 2026 Olomouc triggered the purchase option and signed him outright from Příbram. No fee has been disclosed for any of the moves.

Across those clubs he has passed 70 professional appearances. His return in front of goal is one competitive strike.
