About the player
Andry Jesús Vera Cabrera came through the youth ranks at Mineros de Guayana and made his professional debut with the club on 8 July 2021, staying there until 2023. A left-footed centre-back, he then moved to Argentina, joining Club Atlético Lanús on a free transfer in 2024, where he featured for the reserve side. In January 2025 he switched to Academia Anzoátegui in a €15,000 deal.
At international level, Vera has represented Venezuela at Under-20 level, collecting ten caps between 2022 and 2023. He was part of the squad at the 2023 South American U-20 Championship in Colombia, playing against Bolivia, Colombia, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Ecuador and Uruguay. He has not been called up to the senior national team.
