About the player
Alexander Lindgren made his senior debut this season, moving through the ranks fast enough that he was playing men's football at Ettan Norra level while still 16. He joined IFK Haninge in August 2025 after coming through the Djurgårdens IF academy, having started out with Hammarby IF and Vasastan BK in Stockholm's youth game. At Haninge he made five appearances before Degerfors IF signed him in January 2026 on a contract running to the end of 2028.
He spent the rest of the year with his new club before a loan away in August 2026 for the remainder of the season, with Degerfors remaining his parent club throughout.
Internationally, Lindgren has represented Sweden at youth level, with two caps and a goal for the under-15s. He scored on his debut for that age group, against Finland, and has also been included in training camps with the under-17 set-up. He is right-footed.
