About the player
Two goals against Malawi in September 2025, two more against Sierra Leone in June 2026: Ayouba Kosiah's international record has grown in bursts rather than in a steady line. He first pulled on the Liberia shirt on 3 September 2021, in a 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria, and has since gathered a modest number of caps for a return of several goals.
The club path took longer to yield anything. Kosiah came through the youth ranks at FC Utrecht and then Almere City FC, the club of the city where he was born, and turned professional at NAC Breda in August 2021 on a free transfer. Twenty-one league appearances in the Eerste Divisie followed, and no goals.
Belgium changed that. He joined K Beerschot VA in March 2023, again on a free, and found the net six times in 36 league matches across the Challenger Pro League and, later, the Jupiler Pro League. He was in the Beerschot squad that won the Challenger Pro League title in 2023–24 — the season that carried the club up.
In January 2026 Radnik Surdulica paid a fee of roughly €200,000 for him. Thirteen league appearances in, the return is one assist. The goals that arrived for Liberia have not yet arrived in Serbia.
