Boris Ivanov Ivanov

Boris Ivanov arrived at Spartak Varna in January 2026 as a free agent, signing a contract that runs to the summer of 2027 and taking the number 4 shirt.

The defender's route there was not straightforward. He began at Strumska Slava before a January 2022 move split his time between CSKA 1948 Sofia's second team and Litex Lovech. A year at Dobrudzha followed, where he was an ever-present at the back over 28 appearances without finding the net.

It was at Pirin Blagoevgrad, from July 2024, that Ivanov became a regular fixture, contributing goals from defence across two seasons in the Vtora Liga while also getting a taste of Parva Liga football.

Since joining Spartak, Ivanov has featured in most of the club's league fixtures, including a run of appearances through the 2025/26 efbet League campaign that yielded an assist, and has continued into the following season as a fixture in the side. He has yet to score for the club.
