Batuhan Şen

Batuhan Şen came through Galatasaray's own academy, joining the club in 2014 and signing his first professional contract four years later. Rather than fighting straight away for a place between the posts at Galatasaray, his development ran through a long string of loan spells while he remained under contract with the club. He went out to Hekimoğlu Trabzon, then Menemenspor, where he made 41 appearances, followed by spells at Fatih Karagümrük, Gaziantep FK and Kocaelispor.

It was at Kocaelispor, on loan in the first half of 2025, that Şen had his most significant success: he helped the side win the Trendyol 1. Lig title, despite making only a handful of appearances there himself. Across his career he has kept knocking on the door of Galatasaray's first team without quite forcing his way in, making just two league appearances for the senior side before his contract situation changed.

In May 2026 he joined Fatih Karagümrük on a permanent, free transfer, signing a three-year contract with the club where he had already spent a loan spell in 2022–23.

Şen's international experience has so far been confined to Turkey's youth sides. He was capped four times for the Turkey under-19 team and once for the under-23s, and by the age of 19 he had already gathered 27 caps across the under-16, under-17, under-19 and under-21 age groups.
