Cristian Omar Espinoza

Cristian Espinoza came through the youth system at Huracán. That form carried him to Villarreal in 2016, before a return to Argentina with Boca Juniors.

At youth international level, Espinoza had already won the South American Under-20 Championship with Argentina in 2015 and went on to represent the country's Olympic team at the 2016 Games in Rio.

His move to Major League Soccer in 2019 turned into the defining spell of his career. Over six seasons with San Jose Earthquakes, Espinoza became one of the club's key attacking players, scoring 34 goals in 188 appearances — a return few wide players in the league could match over that stretch.

In January 2026, Espinoza signed for Nashville SC as a free agent, taking the number 7 shirt and bringing a decade of experience in Argentina, Spain and the United States to the club.
