D. Daga

At the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Daniel Daga was the youngest player in Nigeria's squad — and he played every match until the Flying Eagles went out to South Korea in the quarter-finals. He had been in the age group since 2022, when he made his U-20 debut at the WAFU Championship, and he also featured at the 2023 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations and the African Games that year. He has yet to be capped by the senior Super Eagles.

The path there began at the Carabana Football Academy in Akwa Ibom. He signed for FC ONE Rocket in 2022 and made his first-team debut in the Nigeria National League. A season-long loan to Enyimba FC followed in September 2023, later made permanent. He played 10 league matches there and two in the inaugural African Football League, where Enyimba reached the quarter-finals. In November 2023 he was named man of the match in a 1-0 win over Kwara United.

In January 2025, Molde FK signed him permanently from FC ONE Rocket on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The contract was later extended to 2031. As a central or defensive midfielder, he has made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Norwegian club through the end of the 2025 season and into 2026, scoring twice in the Eliteserien and once in the Norwegian Cup.
