Dijon Kameri

Dijon Kameri was born in Salzburg, and he came up through the Red Bull system almost entirely: youth spells at FC Liefering and Red Bull Salzburg before a return to Liefering and a final academy stretch back at Salzburg. He broke into senior football with Liefering's first team in 2021, making 30 appearances and scoring three goals in the Austrian second division, a run that earned him a move up to the Red Bull Salzburg senior squad in 2022. There he made 18 Bundesliga appearances and scored once, and was part of the squad that won the Austrian Bundesliga title in the 2022–23 season.

His path since has been shaped by loans and one serious setback. A move to Grasshopper Club Zurich in February 2024 was cut short after just six appearances when a meniscus injury required surgery. He returned from that to join SC Rheindorf Altach on loan in August 2024, playing 24 matches and scoring twice. In July 2025 he left Salzburg on a permanent basis, signing a three-year contract with KS Cracovia in the Polish Ekstraklasa, where he now wears the number 70 shirt.

Internationally, Kameri has represented Austria at every youth level from the U15s up to the U21s, scoring at several stages along the way, but he holds Kosovo citizenship through his heritage as well and has said he remains open to representing Kosovo in the future. He has not yet won a senior cap for either country.
