Dani van den Heuvel

Dani van den Heuvel spent four years in Leeds United's youth and under-21 setups without ever making a senior competitive appearance, though he was named among the substitutes seven times between 2023 and 2024. The one moment from that spell that stands out came in 2022, when a save against Chelsea's under-23 side earned him the Premier League Youth Save of the Season award.

Van den Heuvel started out at ADO Den Haag before Ajax brought him into their academy in 2017, where he developed until 2020. His move to Leeds that year came on a free transfer, as would each of his subsequent switches. In August 2024 he joined Club Brugge, again without a fee changing hands, and settled into a squad role behind Nordin Jackers and Simon Mignolet.

The wait for a first-team debut stretched over a year at Club Brugge. It finally came in the Belgian Cup in October 2025, followed by his Pro League debut the following month. By then he already had a Belgian Cup winner's medal from the 2024–25 season, collected without featuring in the final, and he added a Belgian Pro League title in 2025–26, again as a squad member rather than a regular starter.

His contract at Club Brugge ran until June 2026, after which he moved on once more on a free transfer, this time to OH Leuven, signing through until the 2028–29 season.
