Daniel Júnior

Daniel Júnior came through the Palmeiras academy, signing his first professional contract with the club in September 2019 and scoring 14 goals in 36 matches at youth level that year. He moved on as a free agent to Cruzeiro in May 2021, and in the 2022 Série B campaign he made 25 appearances and scored twice as the club, under coach Paulo Pezzolano, secured promotion back to the top flight. Injuries in February and July of that year cost him his place in the side and saw him dropped to the reserves.

Cruzeiro sold his rights to Russia's Akhmat in September 2023 for €150,000, with Palmeiras taking a cut as holders of part of his economic rights. The loan spell in Grozny brought only seven appearances across the league and cup, with no goals, and ended by mutual consent in February 2024 without him establishing himself in the team.

He returned to Brazil in February 2024, joining Vitória in a deal worth €500,000. He helped the Salvador side reach the final of the Campeonato Baiano, where they finished runners-up. Loan spells followed at América-MG, where he played nine Série B matches, and at Portuguesa for the Paulista Série A2, before he returned to Vitória in April 2025.

On 28 August 2025, Daniel Júnior signed for Nacional of Madeira, agreeing a contract running to 2030. He has since made 17 appearances in the Primeira Liga, providing one assist, and has featured twice at the start of the following season.
