Enriko Papa

Enriko Papa's career has been built almost entirely on free transfers, moving between clubs without a fee changing hands at nearly every stop. Born in Kuçovë, he came through the youth ranks at Apolonia before turning professional there in 2012, scoring nine goals in 46 appearances across two seasons.

From Apolonia he moved through a string of Albanian clubs — Tomori, Butrinti, Bylis, Tirana and Lushnja among them. The clearest highlight from that period came at Tirana, where he won the Albanian Cup in 2016–17, part of the side that beat Skënderbeu in the final on 31 May 2017.

In July 2018 he joined Romanian side FC Botoșani on a free transfer, and it proved his longest stay anywhere: four seasons and 124 appearances. He left in July 2022 for Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor, where he was part of the squad that won promotion in the 2022–23 season, before a loan spell at Sepsi OSK brought a second cup winner's medal — Sepsi beat Universitatea Cluj 2–1 after extra time in the Romanian Cup final on 24 May 2023.

After a season back in Albania with KF Laçi, Papa returned to Botoșani in January 2025. He has never been called up to the Albania national team.
