Filip Borowski

Filip Borowski was signed into the academy in 2016 after coming through youth sides in his native Bydgoszcz, he was promoted to the senior squad in October 2020 and made his debut in the Polish Cup the following month. From there, though, first-team football stayed largely out of reach: between 2020 and 2024 he made just two official appearances for Lech's senior side, while turning out 37 times for the reserve team, Lech Poznań II.

To find playing time, Borowski went out on loan three years running. Zagłębie Sosnowiec took him for a season and a half from January 2022, where he made 42 appearances. A move to Warta Poznań followed for 2023–2024, yielding 27 appearances, and then Ruch Chorzów for 2024–2025, where he played 18 times, 13 of them in the Ekstraklasa.

Borowski's time at Lech Poznań ended in July 2025, when he joined Piast Gliwice permanently on a free transfer, signing a contract until June 2027 with an extension option. He made his competitive debut for the club in November 2025 in an Ekstraklasa fixture against Widzew Łódź, which Piast won 2–0.

A right-back by trade, Borowski has also featured as a right midfielder. He plays right-footed and, at Piast, wears the number 28 shirt.
