Freddy Situmona Mbemba

Freddy Situmona Mbemba was born in Kinshasa and holds dual French and Congolese nationality. He began his senior career at JA Drancy in 2021, making a single appearance before moving on to USL Dunkerque the following year. He scored four goals in 32 league matches during the 2022–2023 season as the club finished second in the Championnat National and won promotion to Ligue 2.

A loan to Nîmes Olympique in 2023–2024 gave Mbemba his most productive spell yet: 19 league appearances and six goals, including a hat-trick against Sochaux. On the back of that form, he joined FC Versailles 78 permanently in 2024. His 2024–2025 season there stood out further still, with 11 goals and seven assists in 31 league games, form that earned him a place in the Championnat National's Team of the Season.

That season prompted Royal Charleroi S.C. to sign him in July 2025 for a reported fee of €400,000, on a contract running to 2028. He made only two appearances for the Belgian club before being loaned out again, this time to En Avant Guingamp for the 2025–2026 Ligue 2 campaign. At Guingamp he has featured 24 times, scoring once.

Mbemba plays as a left winger despite favouring his right foot, and stands 175 cm tall. He has yet to add a major trophy to his career, and although eligible for both France's youth setup and the DR Congo senior side, he has not been capped by either.
