Frederick Flex

Frederik Flex spent more than four years inside Parma Calcio 1913 without ever playing a senior minute for the club. He arrived in Italy in October 2020, aged 16, from HB Køge, and settled into the Primavera 2 side, where he made around 61 appearances. The step up to the first team never came. In January 2025 he left, with no transfer fee publicly disclosed; the Danish outlet Tipsbladet reported his exit from Italy.

Norway answered the question Italy had not. On 23 January 2025, days after leaving Parma, Flex signed a four-year contract with Kristiansund BK, running to 31 December 2028. His professional debut followed on 6 April, when he came on for Mikkel Rakneberg in a 2–1 Eliteserien win over Bryne FK — his first senior appearance at 21, after a decade in academy football.

That decade began close to home. Flex started at Haslev BK in the town where he was born, moved on to Herfølge BK, and joined HB Køge in 2018 before the Parma offer arrived two years later. Between 2021 and 2022 he won three caps for the Denmark under-18 side.

He is left-footed, which shapes where he plays across the back line. No individual awards or senior titles stand against his name so far.
