Jorge Hernán Menosse Acosta

San Carlos produced Menosse's football education from the start: he came through the youth ranks at Libertad and made his senior debut there in 2007, before crossing town to Atenas.

The move that changed his trajectory came in 2012, when Montevideo Wanderers signed him. A loan to Spain's Recreativo followed, and it was there that Menosse had his most productive spell in front of goal, scoring seven times in 61 appearances from the back. Colombia's Once Caldas signed him in 2015, and a loan to Rosario Central preceded his time in Argentina before Granada brought him back to Spain on a two-year contract in 2017. That deal was cut short by mutual agreement the following year, and short stints at Belgrano and Lugo followed as he moved between South America and Spain.

A return home to Defensor Sporting in 2019 preceded another switch to Colombia, where Deportivo Cali gave him his first major honour: the 2021 Finalización title. Peñarol signed him as a free agent in January 2022, and it was there that Menosse built the most decorated stretch of his career, lifting the Uruguayan Super Cup and the 2023 Torneo Apertura with the Montevideo giant across 56 appearances.

He joined Deportivo Maldonado as a free agent in early 2024, returning to the department where his career began.
