Ignat Kasyanov

Ignat Kasyanov took his first football steps at the age of five at the "Kozhany Myach" sports school in Stavropol, a school founded by former Russia international Roman Pavlyuchenko. At fourteen he moved on to the Football Academy in Tambov, where he trained under coaches Alexander Kudryashov, Evgeny Martynov and Andrey Kuznetsov and played in the Youth Football League and Russian youth championships. He left Tambov as a free agent and, in April 2024, signed his first professional contract with Dynamo Stavropol.

The move paid off quickly. Kasyanov made 24 appearances for Dynamo Stavropol in the 2024/2025 season and established himself as a regular in the side. The club won the Russian Second Division B, Group 1, in 2025, earning promotion to the First League, and Kasyanov stayed on into the following season before his path changed again.

In September 2025 he signed a three-year contract with Volga Ulyanovsk. The switch took him from a promotion-winning side to a club playing in the First League itself, and he has since made his mark there in small doses: three appearances in the league and one in the Russian Cup. At 174 cm, he is still adding to a career that began on a sports-school pitch in Stavropol.
