Ilir Krasniqi

Ilir Krasniqi's route into professional football began in Germany, in the youth structure at KEK, before a move that turned his career towards Kosovo. In December 2020 he signed a five-year contract with KF Llapi, and the switch paid off: he became a fixture in the side, making 100 appearances and scoring four goals, and won the Kosovan Cup twice, in 2020/21 and 2021/22.

His performances at Llapi led to a move abroad. On 11 September 2024, Krasniqi joined Ukrainian club Kolos Kovalivka in a transfer reported at around €300,000. He made 36 appearances for Kolos, scoring once, before moving on again in 2026, this time to Polessya. He has made 12 appearances for his new club in the 2026/27 season so far, without finding the net.

Alongside his club career, Krasniqi has been capped 19 times at international level, though he is yet to score for his country. He has built his reputation less on end product than on consistency at the back, moving through three clubs in three countries without a season out of the side.
