Ilya Petukhov

Petukhov came through Lokomotiv Moscow's academy, moving up from Lokomotiv-m to Lokomotiv-Kazanka before earning a place in the senior squad for the 2020/21 season. He was part of the group that won the Russian Cup that year, though the appearance never came.

What followed was a run through the lower tiers of Russian football. A brief spell at Olimp-Dolgoprudny led to two seasons split between Rodina Moscow's first team and its reserve side, then a move to Tyumen for the 2024/25 campaign, where he made three appearances in the First League. In February 2025 he signed for Amkar Perm, but an injury before the season got underway meant he never played a competitive match for the club. He resumed his career in August 2025 with Rodina-M, the rebranded reserve side, making nine appearances in Second League B.

At youth international level, Petukhov was called up by Russia at both Under-17 and Under-18 level, playing once for the U17s in 2017 and four times for the U18s in 2019, scoring twice in the latter.

He joined Leningradets in July 2026 ahead of the 2026/27 season, the latest step in a career built largely on free moves and internal academy promotions rather than fees or headline transfers.
