Jan Chramosta

Chramosta made his name in Mladá Boleslav's shirt, where he came through the youth ranks before establishing himself in the first team and staying for the best part of a decade. In February 2018 he moved to FK Jablonec, passing 50 league goals for the club. A loan spell at Viktoria Plzeň brought him a Czech First League title in 2014/2015, while two Czech Cup wins with Mladá Boleslav, in 2010/2011 and 2015/2016, sit alongside that in his honours list. A second loan, to Bohemians 1905 in 2021/2022, produced six league goals in 22 appearances.

In February 2025 he reached his 100th top-flight goal, a milestone that brought him into the Klub ligových kanonýrů, the club reserved for the Czech league's century scorers. He was named Discoverer of the Year in 2009 and took the Player of the Month award in September 2016.

The most remarkable entry on his CV, though, came only recently. Chramosta had represented the Czech Republic at U18, U19, U20 and U21 level, scoring five goals in a single U21 match against Andorra in June 2012, but a senior cap never followed until October 2025. He made his debut, at 35, in a World Cup 2026 qualifier away to the Faroe Islands, a match the Czechs lost 2–1. The appearance made him the oldest debutant in the history of the independent Czech national team.
