Jordan Knight

Nashville SC put Jordan Knight through the same conveyor belt that has fed several of the club's recent squad additions: a spell in the MLS NEXT Pro system, then a call back to the parent club. Knight, born in Mississauga, Ontario, went through Brampton East and the Athlete Institute before turning professional with Columbus Crew 2 in March 2022. He stayed there two years, made 42 appearances and picked up a MLS NEXT Pro championship medal in his first season, 2022.

In June 2024, Columbus moved him on to Huntsville City FC, still in MLS NEXT Pro. In 33 games for Huntsville he scored eight goals. Nashville SC gave him his debut on 6 August 2024, in a Leagues Cup match, while he was still tied to the Huntsville set-up.

The formal move to Nashville only became official more than a year later, on 11 September 2025, when the club signed him to a contract running through 2026 with club options for 2027 and 2028. Terms of the various transfers between the affiliated clubs were not disclosed, in line with how MLS NEXT Pro-to-MLS moves are typically handled internally. Since joining Nashville's roster, Knight has featured twice without finding the net.
