About the player
Jorge Meireles came up through FC Porto's academy, joining as a ten-year-old in 2014 and signing his first professional contract with the club in June 2020. He spent four seasons with FC Porto B in the Segunda Liga.
A free transfer took Meireles to Estrela da Amadora in July 2025, where he signed a three-year contract in the Primeira Liga. His first season in Portuguese football's top flight brought 22 league appearances, though only a single goal to show for it.
