About the player
José Stalin Caicedo Porozo began his career at Barcelona SC in Guayaquil, where he won the Ecuadorian Serie A title in 2016. That breakthrough at home came before spells away from the club, first on loan at Deportivo Cuenca in 2020 and then at Orense SC the following year.
A move to CSD Macará followed, keeping him there for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, before he joined Guayaquil City in 2024. Caicedo left again in early 2025 for Vinotinto del Ecuador, a stint that lasted only a few months, and returned to Guayaquil City in June 2025.
