Kasper Waarts Thenza Høgh

Randers born him and set him on his way: Kasper Høgh worked through the Randers FC academy from 2014 and reached the first team in 2018, winning the Danish Cup with the club in 2020–21 before loan spells and moves through Hobro IK, AaB Fodbold and Stabæk Fotball took him away from Denmark's top flight. That came only after Bodø/Glimt signed him from Stabæk in January 2024.

At Bodø/Glimt he became the team's leading scorer in successive seasons, with 12 goals in the 2024 Eliteserien title-winning campaign and 17 in 2025, and he added a Norwegian Football Cup win in 2025–26. His form carried into Europe: he finished as joint top scorer of the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League with seven goals, level with Bruno Fernandes and Ayoub El Kaabi. It was in the Champions League, though, that he made his name known well beyond Norway. He scored twice as Bodø/Glimt beat Manchester City 3–1, then added a goal against Atlético Madrid in January 2026 as the club became the first Norwegian side to reach the Champions League knockout play-offs.

That run persuaded Celtic to pay a club-record fee of around £11 million to sign him at the end of July 2026. After his debut against Dundee, he scored a hat-trick against Kilmarnock in a 5–1 win.

For Denmark, Høgh has been capped four times. His only international goal so far came deep into extra time of the 2026 World Cup qualification play-off final against the Czech Republic, levelling the match at 2–2 after coming on as a substitute, though Denmark went on to lose the shootout.
