About the player
The Diósgyőri VTK goalkeeper took the NB I Save of the Month award for July–August 2025, then again in October and November of the same year — a run of recognition built on a season in which he played 38 league matches.
He came to Miskolc by a route that took in three countries. Sentić learned the game at Nogometna akademija "Libertas" in his home city of Dubrovnik, moved into the academy at HNK Hajduk Split in 2015 and signed his first professional contract there in February 2020. He spent two years with Hajduk's second team before a loan to NK Varaždin for the 2021–22 season gave him 25 appearances and a title in the Croatian Second Football League, with promotion attached.
His first-team debut for Hajduk arrived on 30 July 2022, in a 2–0 win over Varaždin — the club he had just left. That season ended with the Croatian Cup. A loan to Diósgyőr in January 2024 brought nine appearances; a subsequent loan to FC Ordabasy in Kazakhstan brought none. Diósgyőr announced the transfer from Hajduk on 19 June 2024.
With Croatia he has worn the shirt at four youth levels — one cap at under-18, four at under-19, four at under-20 and one at under-23 — without yet appearing for the senior side. When his Diósgyőr contract expired in June 2026, he signed a two-year deal with NK Slaven Belupo as a free agent.
