About the player
Kasim Adams At Mallorca, still a teenager, he scored twice against Barcelona B in September 2014, in a run of 26 appearances in the Segunda División. He had arrived there on loan from Leganés in January of that year.
The move that changed his career came in July 2018, when Hoffenheim paid around €8 million to sign him from Young Boys. It kept him in the Bundesliga for six years, punctuated by loan spells at Fortuna Düsseldorf and FC Basel. From there he moved to Servette on a free transfer, and in March 2026 he joined KuPS on the same basis, signing a two-year deal in Finland.
He played at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, appearing against Benin, Cameroon and Tunisia, and has also featured in World Cup qualifying for both the 2022 and 2026 tournaments. He was left out of the squads for the following two editions of the Nations Cup, in 2021 and 2023, his 16 caps and two goals for the national side have come in scattered bursts rather than a settled run in the team.
