Kevin Kratzsch

Kevin Kratzsch grew up in Gera and came through the youth ranks at FC Carl Zeiss Jena, where he joined the academy in 2015 and worked his way from the U17s to the U19s before making his senior debut for the club's second team in the Regionalliga Nordost.

It was at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen, from 2023, that Kratzsch established himself. Across three seasons he became the club's first-choice goalkeeper, making 77 appearances and keeping 26 clean sheets. The high point came in the 2025/26 Niederrheinpokal, when his saves helped Oberhausen beat Rot-Weiss Essen 3–2 in the second round.

That form earned him a move to FC Energie Cottbus in July 2026, following the club's promotion to the 2. Bundesliga. The Lausitzer Rundschau reported the fee as being in the mid-five-figure range, though both clubs kept the exact sum confidential. He has since made four appearances for Cottbus.

Kratzsch has represented Thuringia at regional level from U14 to U18 and was invited to DFB training camps with the U15 and U17 national teams, though those call-ups did not translate into competitive caps.
