Kevin Piquón

Kevin Picón broke into Santos Laguna's first team as a young defender from León, and within two seasons had made himself a regular fixture in Liga MX. Across the recent campaigns he has featured consistently, playing a dozen league matches in one season before adding further appearances the following term.

His path to the senior side ran through Mexico's youth setup, where he earned a pair of caps for the under-20 national team without troubling the scoresheet.

At Santos Laguna, Picón has built his reputation as part of a squad that has collected silverware regularly rather than through personal accolades. He has been on the books for a Mexican league championship and for five separate Clausura titles, along with a Copa MX win and a further cup success in the Apertura format. The club has also lifted the Campeón de Campeones during his time there. None of these honours are individual — no personal awards or records are attached to his name — but the sheer frequency of the trophies places him among a group of players who have rarely gone a season without something to show for it.

He wears the number 22 shirt and operates as a right-footed defender.
