About the player
Kirill Korolkov was born in Yakutsk and started out in Moscow with Rodina's second team before making his professional bow with Salyut Belgorod in the 2021/2022 season. Seven goals and eleven assists in 27 appearances, form that earned him the Best Young Player of the Month award for September 2021.
What followed was a rapid tour of the lower tiers of Russian football. A brief spell at Rodina Moscow yielded a single First League appearance before he moved on to Tekstilshchik Ivanovo, then split time with Kuban Kholding, and later joined Forte Taganrog, where he added a goal in the Russian Cup to his tally in the Second League. Each move came as a free transfer, a pattern that has held throughout his career.
Korolkov joined Veles Moscow in July 2026. In the PARI First League he has already scored once and set up three further goals in nine appearances. He has not been capped by Russia at any level, and his career, now numbering close to 150 matches, has been built entirely outside the top flight.
