Krzysztof Kurowski

The number that stands out for Krzysztof Kurowski is his age: he made his first-team debut for Śląsk Wrocław in the Ekstraklasa at 16 years, 11 months and 14 days old, becoming the third-youngest player ever to appear for the club in the top flight. Kurowski stayed with Śląsk through the club's relegation from the Ekstraklasa and remained a regular through their following season in the second-tier I liga.

His first senior goal did not arrive until May 2026, in a 4–0 away win over Górnik Łęczna, by which point he had already established himself as a leader within the club's reserve side.

The move to FC Twente in the summer of 2026 followed a contract dispute: Śląsk Wrocław said a verbal agreement on an extension had been reached, but Kurowski did not sign the paperwork, and he left as a free agent when his deal expired, with Twente paying training compensation to his old club. He signed in Enschede until 2030, with an option for a further year.

At international level, Kurowski has represented Poland at youth level, including four caps for the under-17s in 2023, a vintage that won bronze at that year's European Under-17 Championship, and further appearances for the under-19s without scoring.
